Lindal Playgroup

Overview

Lindal Playgroup was formed in 1968, and is run by a committee made up from parents and carers whose children attend. It occupies the Buccleuch Hall, opposite The Green. The playgroup has developed its own traditions, and holds many social events. It has strong links with Lindal and Marton Primary School, where the Rising Fives are based, and enjoys access to The Green and the school's playing field.

Lindal Playgroup is accredited by the Pre-school Learning Alliance.

Playgroup

Lindal Playgroup offers OFSTED-regulated sessional daycare for pre-school children aged from 2 years 9 months.

Sessions:

Monday  1.00 – 3.30  (Lindal & Marton Primary School)
Tuesday  9.15 – 11.45  (Buccleuch Hall, Lindal)
Wednesday  9.15 – 11.45  (Buccleuch Hall, Lindal)
Thursday  9.15 – 11.45  (Buccleuch Hall, Lindal)
Friday  1.00 – 3.30  (Lindal & Marton Primary School)

The nursery education grant (available to all children in the term after their 3rd birthday) can be used at Lindal Playgroup. Places are available in September 2008. Please phone Maria Brown on 01229 466651, or call into one of our sessions for more information.

Toddlers

Want a well organised, structured and friendly toddler group for your toddler or baby?  Lindal Toddlers runs during term time and provides a venue for painting, activities, story and nursery rhyme time in a friendly environment led by experienced staff. £1.50 for the first child £1.00 per additional child / children. Includes a drink and snack! Just pop along to our next session – all welcome.

Ofsted Reports

As Lindal Playgroup is run at two sites, it is inspected separately at each site by Ofsted. The 2008 Ofsted reports can be downloaded by clicking on the PDF icons below. The outcome of each inspection was "Good".
