Creating the School Garden Over a period of a few years, a redundant allotment area behind the school was converted into an exciting garden. The main construction work was completed in early 2006. Parents, staff, pupils, other volunteers, and specialist contractors all helped towards achieving this goal. The PTA provided substantial funds for equipment and plants, and many people also donated materials and their own time. The garden is now a tranquil place where children can learn about nature, try some gardening, or just play. The garden has also inspired some great craft work, and is a beautiful environment for holding concerts and special events. [Go to LAMPS Buildings & Facilities] |
